Class Overview

CTX is a 60-minute high-intensity interval workout that combines traditional cardio training running, biking, rowing with simple weightlifting exercises using dumbbells, kettlebells, slam balls, etc. There are no barbells or high-skill movements in this class. CTX is open to all fitness levels – no prior experience necessary.

Know before you go

  • CrossFit Southie has 2 buildings - the bootcamp is in the building on your right. Come up to the desk to fill out a waiver upon arrival.
  • Parking: The lot in front of Green & Orange is fair game. Street parking is non-residential and first come, first serve. You can park in the Hilti spots after 5pm. You can park in the lot next to Orange in the morning ONLY if you are leaving by 7am or after 5pm and on weekends and ONLY if you do not block any cars or the through-way or you will get towed. At no time ever is it okay to park in front of a garage door or loading dock. 

STUDIO OVERVIEW

In a short time, CrossFit Southie has gained some of the most amazing people that make up this tightly knit community. Doctors, lawyers, nurses, teachers, construction workers, police/firemen, accountants, sales reps, etc. all come together to work towards a common goal, health and fitness.  CrossFit Southie has 15,000 sq ft. of indoor space, making it one of the largest CrossFit facilities in the Northeast.  It has ceilings that reach 30 ft high, and all the toys a CrossFitter desires, including ceiling suspended rings, climbing ropes, prowlers, yokes, Oly blocks, speciality bars, GHDs, tires, chains, air dynes, over 30 ERGs, etc..!  The CFS Bootcamp is a community-based, high energy, circuit-style conditioning workout without the use of barbells or high skill gymnastics.
