Class Overview

Reformer 101 gives you a great workout with easy to follow choreography.  You will learn equipment settings and spring resistance for Reformer workout.  Also your instructor will show you how to position your body for optimum results and intensity.  This class is for any fitness level since you can vary resistance and settings for more or less intensity.  Expect to stretch throughout each exercise series.  Be patient with yourself as you learn how to benefit from this remarkable piece of equipment - it can take up to 10 sessions to fully understand proper form and alignment.   Reformer workouts make you feel elongated, graceful and free of joint strain - and our Balanced Body machines are the best in the Pilates industry.    This class will prepare you for Reformer All Levels. What is the difference between Reformer 101 & All Levels?We gear our 101 classes toward a population that is athletic and wants to work hard, but is unfamiliar with the Pilates choreography and equipment. This class is sure to be a challenging, full body workout without requiring prior Pilates experience. We have clients who have been in the BBP family for 10+ years who frequent our 101 classes because either it fits into their schedules best or they prefer the simplified choreography

  • Sticky socks required for all Equipment Classes (available for purchase for $15)
  • Please arrive early for class - you will not be admitted into class after 10 minutes.
  • You must have completed at least 2 Reformer 101 classes at Boston Body Pilates in order to book "All Levels" equipment classes. Email info@fitreserve.com if completed.
