Know before you go

  • Locating the studio - The Body Center is located in a historical building and does not have a sign.  The address is 1 Holden St, Brookline MA 02445.  Located on the second floor of the big yellow building on the corner of Washington & Holden Sts.  The entrance is on the side by the driveway.  Enter through the door that appears like it is a screen door to a residence.  Walk up to the second floor and enter hallway.  Studio is first door on the right.  
  • Clean, dry, indoor workout shoes are required for TRX classes. All other classes can be done in socks or bare foot.
  • Reformer classes are scheduled by experience level.  The Body Center strives to give all clients the safest and most challenging workout with others of the same level.  If you have not done Pilates Reformer please start with a Beginner Reformer class.  If you have past experience please contact The Body Center for the best class to attend.  
  • Please arrive appx 5-10 minutes before class.  There is a small waiting area if a class is in session when you arrive.
  • Metered parking available on the street and in the Town Hall Parking lot.  The meters work from 8am-6pm Mon-Sat.
  • The studio is close to the Green Line of the T.  5 minute walk from D Line Brookline Village stop. 15 minute walk from C Line Coolidge Corner stop.
  • All classes run as scheduled.  If class has only one attendee it will run for half of the scheduled time.


At The Body Center we offer Pilates, Yoga, and Core Fitness training. We believe in Pilates as a movement discipline designed to work the body from the inside out with attention to breath and form as a way to regain balance and symmetry lost from sports, injury or everyday life. We love our clients and strive to make them comfortable & successful in their practice. 
We offer a full weekly schedule of Pilates reformer, Pilates Mat, Yoga, and TRX Suspension Training classes as well as private or duet training.
