Know before you go

What to Wear & Bring:

  • Aerial Hammocks: Leggings or long workout pants that cover behind your knees and a shirt with sleeves is required in order to protect the fabrics and your underarms. Please do not wear rings or clothing with zippers as they will tear the fabrics. Class is held barefoot or in socks.
  • Aerial Hoop: Leggings or long pants that cover the back of your knees and a tank top or t-shirt. For beginners, leg warmers often help to cushion the backs of the knees as you get used to the apparatus. Class is held barefoot.
  • Pole: Most beginner students feel comfortable wearing capri length yoga pants and a tank top or t-shirt. It is recommended to have at least your calves exposed to allow better grip on the pole. As you progress, you will want to wear shorts to allow for climbing. Please do not wear lotion before class as it will impact your ability to grip. Class is held barefoot.
  • Jewelry should not be worn in any of our classes as they can cause damage to the equipment or cause injury to you.
  • Bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated during class (there is a filtered water cooler available).


Rising Goddess Fitness' vision is to provide students with a safe, fun and supportive fitness environment where they feel open to expression, are encouraged to challenge themselves physically, have the opportunity to form meaningful friendships with their classmates and feel empowered by their successes. Although Rising Goddess Fitness' specialty is aerial arts fitness with a focus on apparatuses including Pole Fitness, Aerial Hammocks, Aerial Hoop and Aerial Yoga, it also offers cross-training classes including Hoop Fitness, Cardio Mash-Up, Around the Bend, Raise the Barre, Eye Candy and Power Up: Pole.
