Class Overview

Create a beautiful balance. Heal body and mind and allow time to melt away stress as you increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility. Explore sensations and learn the appropriate depth for you in each posture. Special attention is given to connective tissues, fascia, ligaments, joints, cartilage and bones. All tissues need exercise to maintain optimal health. To safely exercise the deeper yin tissues we will need to put a certain amount of force by holding positions (3-5 minutes) in seated, supine and prone postures. Yin Yoga explores the edges where resistance arises and is suitable for all body types and experiences The perfect class for some relaxation and refresh to start the week. Gentle poses with lots of props, great for yoga beginners or those that want a nourishing class.   Settle your mind and body with this all levels practice. No experience required.

  • Please bring your own mat and towel if you have one. Mats are available for rent for $1.
  • There is a large bathroom if you need to change at the studio.

We launched in April 2012 as a teacher-run studio with a vision to provide a first class service in a welcoming environment.
