Know before you go

  • TRIBECA classes held at @ 380 Broadway, 5th Floor (You must buzz the 5th floor for entry, so please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you have time to come upstairs, etc.)
  • UPPER WEST SIDE classes held at @ 248 W. 60th, Studio 3
  • JERSEY CITY classes held at @ 196 Morgan St.
  • No prior ballet experience required.
  • Wear comfy exercise clothes and a pair of non-grip socks. Ballet slippers are welcome but not mandatory.
  • Please bring a mat or small towel if you want extra cushioning for floor warm-up/stretching sequences.
  • There are restrooms and changing areas and 1 shower at the Tribeca location.
  • Classes begin on time! Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you have time to enter the building and sign in for class. Class attendance closes 10 minutes after class begins and later arrival is not permitted.


Everyday Ballet offers a total mind-body experience that awakens you to the joy of being in your body! Created and developed by professional ballerina Tiekka Tellier, EDB translates sophisticated ballet technique into a unique, accessible program for everyone to enjoy. 
The EDB method uses fundamental ballet technique to build fitness through beauty and not brute force. Each session includes a mat warm-up and strengthening sequence, barre exercises, stretching, and free-standing exercises. EDB strengthens and tones the entire body (including muscles you never knew you had!). Exercises develop deep core strength, posture, balance, and flexibility, not to mention physical and mental confidence!
