Know before you go

  • All first-time participants must fill out a brief online health history form prior to class
  • Arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of your first class and double check class locations
  • Bring water and wear comfortable workout attire, sneakers, and a supportive bra. No bare feet!
  • For classes at the Ripley Grier Studio, bring a yoga mat (some extra mats available if you do not have one)
  • For outdoor stroller workouts, wear comfortable workout attire & dress appropriately for weather. Place rain covers on strollers if it is cold, windy, or rainy. Bring water and a mat or towel for ground work.  
  • Any kind of stroller is fine for stroller workouts (jogging stroller not critical)


PROnatal Fitness offers prenatal and postnatal fitness classes combining modifiable cardio conditioning, total body strengthening, and proper core training.  All classes are designed to address the specific needs of the expecting and new mothers’ bodies – with an emphasis placed on those muscles most critical during pregnancy, labor, and early motherhood.  Classes are highly modifiable for all fitness levels, and stages of pregnancy and/or motherhood. Classes are held in various locations in uptown and downtown Manhattan.  Prenatal classes are held in a studio.  Postnatal classes are offered both in a studio and outdoor (stroller-based workout), depending on location.  All classes are modifiable for both expecting and new moms.  Just note that prenatal classes do not include childcare.
