Class Overview

Zoom is the digital platform you will use to access classes taught by Bar Method Brooklyn instructors and workshops led by a variety of experts. It's simple to use: Sign-up for a class or workshop on MindBody like you normally would. After you sign up for a class or workshop, you'll receive an email with the Zoom link 30 minutes before the class. (If you don't see the email, check your Spam, Promotions, or Updates folder!) Please do not share this link. You may be prompted to download Zoom to your computer. You can do this or just open Zoom in your browser when prompted. You can join from any device but we recommend a computer for the best experience. Click on the link to join the class or workshop 5 minutes before the class is scheduled to start. You're free to say hello to the instructor and your classmates before the class starts! Can't make the class at the scheduled time? Know before you go

  • New students should arrive 15 minutes early
  • Students will not be allowed in the class more than 10 minutes after it has started
  • Socks and pants required (no shorts)
  • Only non-breakable water containers allowed in the studio room
  • No gum or cell phones allowed in studio room
  • Instructors may physically adjust your body or call your name out in class to ensure a safe and effective workout
  • Pregnant clients should schedule a time prior to their first class to review potential exercise modifications 



Located in beautiful, historic "brownstone Brooklyn", it features two workout studios, a child care room, a locker room with showers and amenities and a spacious lounge area. The studio is close to many subway lines.
The Bar Method New York City - Cobble Hill offers barre classes for students of all levels. The signature method uses your own body weight, the ballet barre and a few props to create a transformative workout that results in long, lean sculpted muscles. Not only does it reshape your entire body, but it allows you to channel your inner strength and leave class feeling strong, confident and poised. Highly-trained instructors customize the exercises to ensure they are safe and effective for any age and every body, including modifications for pregnant women and students with injuries.
