Know before you go

  • Please bring a stroller if you have young children (Jogging stroller preferred; stroller cover or a light blanket/towel for clipping onto the stroller to protect your child from sun or rain may be useful)
  • Bring hand weights (anywhere between 3-15 pounds); instructor will have extra weights for those who are trying class for the first time
  • You must wear athletic shoes and bring a towel or mat for the ground exercises and plenty of water
  • A hat and/or sunblock are highly recommended as well as snacks and toys for older children

S.L.A.M. Sweat Like A Mother Tampa is an all-encompassing exercise community for women - specializing in pregnancy and postpartum fitness - striving to bring moms together as athletes. Classes are child-friendly (but you do not have to bring kids!) so no need to find childcare.  Their community includes workouts and play groups for kids. Come sweat like a mother and find out what they are all about!
