Class Overview

Yin yoga stimulates the movement of chi through twelve distinct meridian lines where we harbor many of our deepest emotions. Through extended holds, we create ample space for our bodies to energetically release these emotions and create a sense of clarity, calm and truth. Yin Targets connective tissues that are not normally exercised in active asana practices. This is an all levels class, first timers and experienced welcome. Come as you are. Merry will weave sound healing through parts of the class with crystal bowls, chimes, and mantra. She will fill the room with healing light, and some may receive individual light healing. In this class, props are used to support the body to further allow you to relax into postures providing a deeper experience. We do provide most of the props but please bring your own yoga mat and eye pillow (if you enjoy one)
