Class Overview

A gentle Yoga practice that is ideal for maintaining back strength and flexibility, and one of the more effective tools for helping reduce back, neck, shoulder, and hip pain. Yoga helps strengthen, stretch, or release tension in muscles that might be tight, and improves mobility and flexibility. Yoga as a union of body and mind involves not only a series of poses but emphasizes breathing techniques and a mindful attention to body sensations, thoughts, and what might be in the way of experiencing relief and well-being. Yoga is a gentle yet powerful and effective practice to reduce muscular tension and stress, build flexibility and strength, improve posture and balance, and increase bone density.
