Class Overview

CYCLE & STRENGTH, 30 minutes of heart-pounding beat-based cycling, and 30 minutes of free-weight strength training. A 50/50 hybrid of our CYCLE and STRENGTH offerings. Get the best of both worlds in this effective and efficient full body workout. This class will begin with everyone in the CYCLE room moving together, then during the 3-5 minute transition clients will move across the hall to our STRENGTH room where everyone will finish off the second half of class with a full-body weighted section curated by the instructor

Know before you go

  • Riders must arrive 5 minutes prior to class start, as we will begin giving bikes away to wait-listed riders. If you are running late, call the studio to hold your bike. No one will be allowed to enter class more than 10 minutes late.
  • We recommend purchasing a pair of bike shoes if you plan to participate in cycling. “Clipping in” is a great way to feel even more connected to the bike and to the class. Bikes are not compatible with regular sneakers, so we offer complimentary shoe rental. Our bikes are compatible with SPD cleats.
  • Proof of vaccination is required of all Handle Bar patrons. Please email a photo of your vaccination card to vax@handlebarcycling.com OR present your vaccination report/photo upon your next visit in-studio.
  • The studio has cubbies, lockers, and fully-stocked men’s and women’s locker-rooms. 
  • Street parking can be found on Harrison or Traveler. There is also a small lot behind CorePower Yoga, with 90 minute free parking.
