Class Overview

This is a great way to play and socialize with other pickleball-loving players. This unique format for singles pickleball on a skinny court at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel rotates up to 4 players through the competition in a round-robin format! Come by yourself or recruit some opponents.   This is a singles game with a max capacity of 4 players. When 3-4 players participate, you will not play the whole time, but have breaks to catch your breath, watch others play, and chat with other pickleballers on the sidelines. When 2 players participate, they will play the whole time.   Our friendly Grab A Game host will welcome you to the court, provide the equipment and make sure everything runs smoothly. You are welcome to bring your own paddle if you have one. New to pickleball? Start with our Learn To Play Pickleball Session to get a hand of the rules and how to keep score. The Chicago Athletic Association Hotel is located at 12 S Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60603. We'll be playing in "The Tank" on the first floor, which is a special experience in this historic and novel location. Paid street parking is available on Wabash and paid parking is also available through Spot Hero in the Millennium Park Garage. Public transportation is highly recommended. Pricing $15 per person $65 for a 5-pack $35 for a week of unlimited play with Grab A Game First time players will have the option to purchase two games for $15 when checking out. What to Expect:Show up 10 minutes early and check in with the host on the court. The game will begin at the time listed for this event. Please be ready to start on time and stay until the end. In the highly unlikely chance we need to cancel due to not enough players, an email notification will be sent at least 2 hours in advance in order to give people enough notice. Credits will be issued if we cancel the event. Sign up early to encourage more people to sign up. Since the host can jump into the game, we can play with a minimum of 1 person being signed up! Cancelation PolicyIf you sign up, we're counting on you to be there. If you need to cancel, please do so 2 or more hours in advance through the Grab A Game app or your grabagame.com account. You'll automatically receive a credit for the next time you play in a game of the same price with us. However, if you cancel less than 2 hours before game time, you will forfeit your payment because you're leaving the host and the other players in quite a pickle (ha!). Requirement to play:This is an adult group and player must be 18 or older. Males and females are welcome to play. There is no required gender ratio.
