Class Overview

Well organized and fun volleyball is the goal of these intermediate level games at Lincoln Park High School. All players play the whole time in this game. Players generally have a good understanding of all volleyball rules and attempt to make three hits per side. Many players may be familiar with 5-1 and 6-2 formations, but some may not. Lincoln Park High School is located at 2001 N Orchard St, Chicago, IL 60614.  Paid parking is available in the LPHS Parking Lot on Armitage. Metered street parking is also available in the area.   Pricing $15 per person $65 for a 5-Pack of $15 games $35 for a Golden Ticket (1-week of unlimited play with Grab A Game)  About this Location There are two buildings and three gyms at this location. Please note the location listed when viewing this event's details in the Grab A Game app. if you're unsure of which gym you're in, arrive early and staff will help you find the right place to be.   Small Gym: Enter the main the building (the bigger building of the two) through the main entrance on the west side of the building. Take the stairs to the second floor and go straight down the hall. We will be in the first gym on your right.    LPHS - Annex: This is the Freshman Building gym, also known as the Annex. The Freshman building is the smaller building on the west side of the campus. Enter the gym directly through the doors on the north side of the building. Check in with the Grab A Game host on the court.Paid parking is available in the school's parking lot on Armitage Ave and metered street parking in the area. You'll be playing on a wood court. Some players wear volleyball-specific shoes, though they're not required. We prefer you bring your game shoes with you and change into them when you arrive to help us keep the court clean and dry. Cancelation PolicyIf your plans change, you can cancel up to 2 hours before game time through the Grab A Game app or your grabagame.com account to automatically receive a game credit back on your account. The game credit is good for any upcoming game of the same price. No refunds. Late cancelations (less than 2 hours before game time) and no-shows will not receive a credit. Minimum Number of Players and Playing Formats: This event needs a minimum of 8 people (not including the host) signed up before the start of the event in order to run. While highly unlikely, we will play with a minimum of 4 players per team. An email notification will be sent 2 hours in advance if we need to cancel. Credits will be issued if we cancel the event. If you need to cancel less than 2 hours before the game time, please do so through the Grab A Game app and email us at grabagame@chicagosocial.com to request special consideration for a credit. Requirement to play:This is an adult volleyball group and player must be 18 or older. Males and females are welcome to play. There is no required gender ratio.
