Class Overview

Join us for Upper-Intermediate (BB) Volleyball at LPHS. When sold out with two courts, teams will rotate through the competition for a variety of opponents in a mini-tournament format. This is an upper-intermediate level event and players must have BB permissions added to their account in order to sign up. This higher-level game requires players to have a thorough understanding of all volleyball rules, play at a high level of athleticism and accuracy, and know how to safely play different formations such as 5-1 and 6-2. Lincoln Park High School is located at 2001 N Orchard St, Chicago, IL 60614. Paid parking is available in the school parking lot and on the street. This game is played in the LPHS Annex. If it's your first time at this location, arrive a few minutes early and staff will help you find the right place to be. LPHS - Annex: This is the Freshman Building gym, also known as the Annex. The Freshman building is the smaller building on the west side of the campus. Enter the gym directly through the doors on the north side of the building.Check in with the Grab A Game host on the court. You'll be playing on a wood court. Some players wear volleyball-specific shoes, though they're not required. We prefer you bring your game shoes with you and change into them when you arrive to help us keep the court clean and dry. Cancelation PolicyIf your plans change, you can cancel up to 2 hours before game time through the Grab A Game app or your grabagame.com account to automatically receive a game credit back on your account. The game credit is good for any upcoming game of the same price. No refunds. Late cancelations (less than 2 hours before game time) and no-shows will not receive a credit.
