Class Overview

This 45 min Total Body class uses the signature Lagree "4-count" tempo and couples it with coordinated movement to enhance the muscular endurance challenge. The programming will allow for individualized modifications but an emphasis will be placed on coordinated movements and working as a team. A strong working knowledge of Lagree movements is required, NOT recommended for beginners.   *(PREREQUISITE) You must have done at least 10 previous (MDR) classes within a month (other Lagree studios do not qualify). No exceptions.

Know before you go

  • New students must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class start for orientation. If you arrive less than 10 minutes early, the studio reserves the right to reschedule you for another time/date. This applies to new guests who have done this method at another studio.
  • If you do not arrive within 5 minutes of class start, your space may be given to someone who is waiting.
  • For safety and sanitary reasons, we REQUIRE EVERYONE to wear non-slip, tread socks (available for purchase). No shoes are needed.
  • We have a water dispenser. If you bring your own bottle, no glass bottles.

STUDIO OVERVIEW

The Studio (MDR)™ brings the intensity of fitness guru Sebastien Lagree's Pilates-inspired workout to Marina Del Rey, Culver City and Playa Vista. The Lagree Fitness workout is a total-body program that melds together elements of Pilates, cardio training and weight-bearing activity to create a revolutionary, one-of-a-kind exercise program.  

 

The workout is done on state-of-the-art Megaformers, which provide constant resistance and infinitely more exercise options than a traditional reformer. The machine allows the body to shift quickly and smoothly from one exercise to another while increasing the heart rate and getting the blood pumping. The Megaformer attacks each and every muscle in a concentrated and focused manner to sculpt strong, powerful and lean bodies in a safe and measured way.
