Our Detailed Movement Pilates Reformer class is a favorite among our clients as it combines modern techniques with Joseph Pilates' traditional principles. This class focuses on precise and controlled movements, which may or may not include the use of props, to enhance your body's flexibility and strength. We place significant emphasis on proper alignment, breathing techniques, and developing a strong core to help improve coordination and balance.

Know before you go

  • Grip socks are REQUIRED for class
  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement and support
  • Please no perfumes or scented products, and no heavy creams (like zinc oxide) that could be damaging to the equipment
  • Located in the lavender building on the south side of Santa Monica Blvd. Ample street parking is available in the neighborhood
  • The studio door is kept locked at all times and the door will be unlocked 5 minutes before class. If you arrive early, you may wait in the building lobby area; if you arrive late, please ring the bell
  • Please sign in on the attendance sheet upon entering the studio
  • Lockers are available to securely stow your personal belongings
