Class Overview

Yin Yoga is a slower practice where poses are passively held for longer, working on the deep, dense (Yin) connective tissues and joints in the body. Yang yoga is the more traditional hatha, vinyasa, or ashtanga based asana practice that develops muscular strength, stamina, and flexibility.   A blend of an active (Yang) flow and a passive stretching (Yin) practice, this is an excellent addition to your weekly practice! All levels are welcome - modifications and variations will be given to make the class challenging and accessible to levels and abilities.

Know before you go

  • Please arrive early for your first class to sign waiver (no late-comers permitted; door will be locked 5 minutes after class start and no late-comers will be permitted and no refunds)
  • Located near the E/M/6 Lex/53rd St Stop, and near the R/W 59th/Lex train stops. The main street door is unlocked during business hours, students must buzz #700 after 5pm. The buzzer does not make a sound when unlocked, must pull the door.
