Class Overview

A Barre is a handrail that is placed securely to provide  support while you participate in different types of exercise. Typically used in Ballet, the barre helps dancers with stability and balance while performing both fast and slow exercises.These exercises are performed to warm up and strengthen muscles, but also encourages proper body form and alignment.A Barre is a handrail that is placed securly so that it can provide you support during different types of exercise. Practicing at the barre will strengthen your feet & legs, improve flexibility and help your over all alignment throughout your core. In Barre class, expect your instructor to incorporate a wide variety of other activities to increase your stamina, and stimulate your core, develop and tone your arms as well! Many students report that Barre classes have improved their yoga practice and depth. This class is held in our smaller room where the temperature is lower, but you are working more vigorously. You can expect to sweat just as much. Please bring a yoga mat, towel & water.  Toe sox are encouraged.

Know before you go

  • Bring a mat, towel for your mat, water bottle and small towel
  • After class you will recieve an iced towel with essential oils to aid in recovery (for your face and neck)  pleae leave in the basket by the door
  • No talking in class and leave all extra personal belongings in the cubbies in the lobby.
