Gentle is a less intense, more simplistic form of yoga that offers modifications to the standard Hatha yoga poses. The pace is very relaxed and is a wonderful alternative for those who are trying to get active again, recovering from an illness or injury, are pregnant, or those who are simply looking for a calming practice. This is a great place to start, return to, or allow growth in your yoga practice. The class ends with a 15-minute iRest Yoga Nidra.
Please arrive 10 minutes before class begins. For the benefit of yourself and fellow practitioners, please do not knock if the doors are locked.
There may be some twists, turns and bending, so don’t eat a full meal at least one hour before class – the emptier your stomach, the more enjoyable your practice will be.
Bring your own yoga mat or you can rent one for $1.
Bring a towel and water bottle; there is a water bottle refilling station.
