Class Overview
Muay Thai, also known as Thai boxing, is a martial art and combat sport that originated in Thailand. It is known for its powerful striking techniques, including punches, kicks, elbow strikes, and knee strikes. It is also referred to as "the art of eight limbs" because of its use of the eight points of contact. Muay Thai is one of the most physically demanding sports and provides an intense full-body workout. All levels are welcome! Classes will cover warm up, conditioning, technique, pads, bag work, clinch work, and light sparring depending on the day. Know before you go
- Please arrive 10 minutes early for your class
- For your first class, equipment will be provided. After your first class, you will need 16oz boxing gloves, shin guards, hand wraps, and a mouth guard for Muay Thai/Striking classes, and a Gi for BJJ Gi classes and general athletic clothing for their No-Gi courses.
- Bring a filled water bottle
- All equipment is available for purchase
- Upon arrival, please proceed downstairs and take your shoes off before entering the basement door
