Class Overview

A class designed for those interested in learning and/or improving their technique. Both a cardio and strength training class that explores fighter movements both on and off the bag. Extra time will be spent working on isolating specific martial techniques that vary from class to class. Great for both beginners and advanced students.

  • Boxing/MMA gloves required - bring your own or you can purchase them at the studio(no rentals available).
  • Wraps are recommended but not required (available for purchase).
  • Sneakers required.
  • Please bring a towel and water (also available for purchase).
  • Arrive 15 minutes before your first class 

STUDIO OVERVIEW

At CKO Kickboxing of Park Slope, you will be burning fat and toning up by punching and kicking a real, hanging heavy bag. The resistance from hitting a hanging heavy bag burns more calories and tones your muscles up faster than if you were just punching and kicking the air. CKO Kickboxing keeps the punches and kicks basic to focus on the fitness aspect of the workout rather than the martial art itself. Since the class is for both beginners and advanced members, it is geared for each member to go at your own pace and build up your pace each class.
