Yoga Nidra With a Live Stream Class you receive a link via email to join the class 30 minutes before it begins. So click and enjoy the flow! The practice of Yoga Nidra is a practice of yogic sleep that will guide you to a state of consciousness between wakefulness and sleeping, allowing your brain and body to fully relax. Yoga Nidra is made up of a sequence of meditation practices that help you feel connected to yourself, with others, and to the world, around you. These meditation practices teach you how to respond, rather than react, to your emotions, thoughts, and actions – no matter your state of mind or body. When you react, you feel that something remains incomplete in the way you handled a particular situation. Something still feels “off” or “not right”. When you respond, you feel in harmony with your actions and with the world around you. Yoga Nidra is an ancient meditation practice that supports psychological, physical, and spiritual healing due to its ability to change states of consciousness, bringing your mind into a relaxing Theta brain wave frequency where you can reprogram your subconscious mind. Did you know your subconscious mind runs 95% of the time where the conscious mind only is responsible for the other 5%! Now that’s something to think about…Because Meditation helps to bring us into the Theta state our intentions can be sent directly to the subconscious mind to “fast-track” the changes you are wanting to create in your life.
