Jordin's Paradise

About the Owner: Born in Tunisia and raised in Germany, Rania Jaziri began studying ballet at age six and she graduated from Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg in Germany before bringing her unique enthusiasm and expertise about dance, fitness and performing arts to the Nation's Capital. Dance-exercising has helped Rania maintain her health and fitness, which has ultimately contributed to her overall happiness, positive attitude and outlook on life which she hopes to share with everyone. Rania is a certified aerobics instructor and personal trainer with an emphasis in step-kickboxing and group exercises and she founded Jordin's Paradise Dance & Fitness in 2010.

Types of classes offered: All types of classes, from more traditional workouts like Zumba, yoga, kickboxing and hip hop, to non-traditional classes like pole dance, chair dance, belly dance, stripper bootcamp, ballet fusion and more.

What makes Jordin’s Paradise unique? Jordin's Paradise is a place where everyone can feel welcomed and comfortable. We have an extremely diverse group of students and teachers and you can be sure that you will feel at home no matter what your level. Many of our students become friends from attending our classes and we have a very open and friendly attitude. We also offer many classes not offered at other studios, like Pole-Yoga-Lates (a hybrid of yoga and Pilates that utilizes the pole to stretch and strengthen) and Stripper Bootcamp, where you can learn a sexy routine and still get a full body workout.

What inspired you to open Jordin’s Paradise? I want to bring fitness into people's lives in a FUN way. It's hard to have fun running on the treadmill at regular gyms, but when you dance, you don't even realize that you are working out. I want people to have a place where they can have fun, get healthy and fit exercise into their lives. I think that's the best way for a person to really become physically and emotionally healthy.
