Green Ginger Shooter

This is a great pre-Thanksgiving beverage, a yummy palette cleanser in between courses, or a post-meal pick me up...and it's so easy!

Ingredients

2 cucumbers
3-4 stalks of celery
1 pear
handful of basil
large chunk of ginger (peeled)
1-2 lemons

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a juicer, pour and enjoy.  We told you it was easy!

Banana Bliss

This is a great healthy dessert option and leftovers make for a killer power breakfast!

Ingredients

3 ripe bananas
1 cup of dairy free almond milk yogurt, coconut flavor
1 large scoop of peanut, almond, or cashew butter
sprinkle of your favorite granola

Directions
In a bowl mash together one banana, yogurt, nut butter, and granola. Peel other bananas and cut into 1/4- 1/2 inch slices. Spread small amount of banana mix in between two banana slices (should look like a mini sandwich). Place on wooden cutting board or plate and pop into freezer. Wait about an hour and then experience pure Banana Bliss!

If you have leftover "banana mash", cover bowl with plastic wrap and store in fridge.

Quick n' easy breakfast ideas...

- spread on top of toast
- add granola, berries and extra yogurt (if needed)
- top off a bowl of kamut or quinoa, add sliced almonds or walnuts
