Jiujitsu is cool. The health benefits can be found in almost any martial art - or sport for that matter. Same with making friends - can easily be done in any athletic activity. One main disadvantage of jiujitsu is it does not help you against multiple attackers - where it's better to stay on your feet. It also gives more advantages to size and strenthusiasm than many other arts. Very effective for ground fighting, but good to know pros and cons.
