This Pilates studio may not look like Cheers and, if you’re new, chances are, everybody doesn’t know your name—at least not yet.  “It’s a great place to feel welcome,” says studio owner Vicki Cross, who bought the place 5 years ago from its previous owners and earned a nod from Philadelphia Magazine for best fitness studio in 2012.

Everybody is really friendly and that sense of belonging is so important. If you don’t feel like you belong, you’re not going to go back.”

Location: Bucks County, PA

Owner: Vicki Cross

Classes Offered: Reformer, mat, yogotes for various levels. Privates and semi-privates for all of the above, plus yoga and TRX, are also available.

Why You Should Check It Out: The max class size at this studio is 6, which means you’ll get plenty on individual attention.

Know Before You Go: There’s limited parking in front of the studio, but Peddler’s Village (around back) has plenty of spots in Peddler’s Village. You don’t need to bring anything but yourself: Everything else is included in the price—and happy hour classes are just $15.

Advice for First Timers: Level I-II classes are there to make the studio more welcoming, but all classes are small enough that you’ll get plenty of one-on-one assistance, whether you’re a pro or a newbie.

Fun Fact: Vicki did a brief stint as Chip (of Chip and Dale) at Disneyland. She also worked the jungle cruise and the tiki room.
