Why We Love It: We can - and will - go on and on about the importance of varying up your classes, but trying new workouts is a little intimidating. At BURN, though, the instructors and staff are all very welcoming, and give you the personal attention you need to learn those new moves, techniques and skills in intimate classes.
Why It's So Effective: Cross-training your body is key to avoiding a fitness plateau, and BURN offers a variety of classes that, together, work all areas of fitness. Classes like Bike and Urban Kick work your cardiovascular endurance, Power and Pounds & Watts build strength, and the yoga and Pilates options increase flexibility.
Know Before You Go: If you are taking a Bike class, bring either your SPD-compatible shoes or sneakers.
Don't Miss: Needless to say, we were intrigued when we saw a "Broga®" class on the menu. This unique class is a mash-up of yoga and HIIT (high intensity interval training), and counts among its many benefits core strengthening, muscle toning, endurance building and stress reduction. You don't have to be a "bro" to hit up a Broga® class, either: ladies are more than welcome in this signature class.
